ANJPR Open House- Fashion Show

I am proud to say that I am working with the ANJPR Glam Squad as the stylist! We showcased two looks during the networking event at the Prince George’s African American Museum.  The theme for the show was “Urban Vintage.”  I chose the 1970s decade for both Nereida, Miss Africa USA and international model, and Alex, celebrity publicist.  Nereida’s look was based on the growing popularity of bell-bottoms during the time.  She has flares in both the top and bottom, paired with a veil headband that sets off any vintage look.  Alex’s look was inspired by the popularity of the plaid and checkered crop pants during the time for men.  I paired the pants with suspenders and a blazer to bring it all together.  Here are some pictures below:
